Sunday. Run Day. Week 2

(The author is retracing the steps of the milestones in his battle with brain cancer. He is running the journey through ER visits, radiation treatments, life-saving surgeries, you know, the really mundane stuff.  The author will not be running a mile for every MRI…his legs are not that strong.)

This week, I ran farther than my initial outings.

How much more?  .23 miles

marathon yellowThis is not to be confused with the legendary .25 I earned at Shippensburg University.

That less than a 1/4 mile was not by accident. Why did I run those last .23 miles? No decimals. Only whole numbers from here on out.

977 miles to go.

Keeping the faith.
